100% EtOH, used for example in Smash N Grab Yeast Genomic DNA Preps, is not the same thing as 95% EtOH. 100% EtOH lives in the fire cabinet that's under the fume hood immediately inside the hallway of 4-242, or the in the same area as the -80C freezer and 30C shaker. 95% EtOH lives in the hood directly above this in a 5 or 10 gallon black can with a hand pump.
