Once upon a time we found a male nematode. We wanted to propagate a male plate.
To propagate we want to take the male that we found and move him to a small plate.
We need to find a L3/L4 Hermaphrodite and place him/her on the same plate with our male friend.
Next place a small glob of OP-50 from another plate (about the size of a pencil eraser) to keep them in close proximity to each other.
Place them back into the incubator and check up on them 2-3 days later
(Optional: play Berry White and lower the light level)
When you get back to them they should be half male and half hermaphrodite.
